Formula 1

Description

The Miami International Autodrome, a temporary circuit, uses a mix of existing roads and purpose-built stretches on the grounds of the Hard Rock Stadium complex. This minimizes the impact on public roads (though there is one backstraight on 203rd Street) and allows race officials to design a uniquely challenging course. With high-speed straights, tight corners, and the vibrancy of the city as a backdrop, the Miami Grand Prix is a feast for both racing enthusiasts and casual fans alike.

Title

Waller Projects played a key role in the construction and delivery of the Miami International Autodrome, supporting the transformation of an active stadium complex into a fully operational race circuit.

Our work focused on track construction, site management, and workforce management, coordinating contractors, managing sequencing across a constrained site, and maintaining progress under strict timelines. From early setup through event readiness, we managed each phase of the build to keep work organized, aligned, and moving forward.

With a large and evolving workforce, we provided on-site management to maintain productivity, safety, and clear communication across all teams. This allowed the project to adapt to real-time challenges while maintaining control of critical path activities.

The result was a fully delivered circuit and event environment capable of supporting a high-profile, global event.
